Woodwind Advisor - Megan Milne

Megan is a Junior studying Music Education at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She is the student director of Wind Ensemble and Music Departmental Assistant at MVNU. Megan is an alum of Fairfield High School and has 4 years of marching experience in their 'AA' band. Her senior year she was Section Leader, Secretary of Band Council, and Secretary of Tri-M Music Honor Society. Megan's primary instruments are piano, flute and piccolo.

Woodwind Advisor -Tony Miller

Tony is currently serving as Woodwind Caption Head for the Pride of Newark. Prior to joining Newark he served as Director of Bands (5-12) at Holgate Local Schools in Holgate , OH . He also taught courses in Kindergarten music, 7th grade music, and HS Music Enhancement. In 2008 his 26 piece Middle School Band (7th/8th) earned a Superior rating at Large Group Event. He also served as an assistant softball coach, taught private lessons, and performed with the Defiance College Community Band.

Tony attended The University of Akron from 1999-2005 and received his degree in Music Education. He studied applied saxophone with Rich Shanklin and performed with the Symphonic Band, Concert Band, University Band, Jazz Lab Band, Marching Band, Sax Quartet, and Blue and Gold Brass. He is currently on sabbatical leave to start his Masters in Music Education at The Ohio State University.
